Regarding the Sheridan-Owens affair ...

... let us try to explain to our Blue State friends what us rednecks find so distasteful about ABC's stunt ... suppose you were sitting down with your kids to watch "Sex and the City" and prior to the big BROADcast, Ms. Sheridan walked on camera, tastefully dressed, knelt down and began praying the Rosary ... or WORSE ... started reciting the "Pledge of Allegiance" -- INCLUDING that nasty "under God" part ...

Now, wouldn't you feel violated?
