    Boy ex-President: Raise taxes

    Campaign to outpace Carter as most disgraceful ex-president continues ...

    Clinton: Bush should raise taxes to pay for recovery

    Former President Clinton believes the Democrats should pounce on and exploit President Bush's refusal to hike taxes to finance Hurricane Katrina relief efforts and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    "They should continue to oppose it, and they should make it an issue in the 2006 election, and they should make it an issue in the 2008 election," said Clinton, interviewed on Sunday by George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "This Week.
    "I think it's very important that Americans understand... tax cuts are always popular, but about half of these tax cuts since 2001 have gone to people in my income group, the top 1 percent. I've gotten four tax cuts. [emphasis ours] They're responsible for this big structural deficit, and they're not going away, the deficits aren't."

    This is precious! This guy never EARNED a decent salary, even as Governor of Arkansas ... As a result of the ineptitude of Bush pere, he became president, and parlayed that -- and his satyriasis -- into a book deal that has provided him his first decent payday ... and he has the GALL to put himself in the company of those of us who actually PRODUCE something out of nothing and make this country GO!

    Yo, pervert -- you feelin' guilty? -- pay more taxes voluntarily. And take an economics course from a beardless professor who doesn't own a hookah pipe.

    Loathesome blob to profit from Katrina's deadly toll?

    Will Moore turn Katrina into film?

    Will Michael Moore turn his cameras on Katrina?

    The controversial filmmaker is "seriously considering" turning the devastating storm and its aftermath into a documentary, says a source. "It has all the elements that made 'Fahrenheit 911' such a powerful film," says a source. "The political outrage, the human suffering, and the incredible footage."

    Moore's rep didn’t have a comment by press time, but Moore certainly isn’t being silent about Katrina on his Web site. "There is much to be said and done about the manmade annihilation of New Orleans, caused NOT by a hurricane but by the very specific decisions made by the Bush administration in the past four and a half years," he wrote. "Do not listen to anyone who says we can discuss all this later. No, we can’t. Our country is in an immediate state of vulnerability. More hurricanes, wars, and other disasters are on the way, and a lazy bunch of self-satisfied lunatics are still running the show."

    Massacres by evil teens ("Bowling for Flatulence") and Mohammedans ("Fahrenheit 911" -- the temperature at which fat burns) ... now a natural disaster (known to adults as one of the risks of living on Earth) ... How low will this corpulent bastard sink?

    Figuratively, of course. Without a block and tackle he's not capable of a deep knee bend.

    Moore, who could have served as a human lifebuoy for those left behind by pixilated Mayor Nagin's inability to implement his city's evacuation plans, has made a ton of bucks off the slaughter of innocents. Word was his next project was to be an attack on the pharmaceutical companies that keep us alive and comfortable. We suppose he was motivated by bitterness at their inability to develop a cure for FSS -- Fat and Stupid Syndrome.

    That some consider his latest potential predation reason for hope speaks more to their depravity than to any reality in Normal America.

    Slaughter introducing bill to cap gas at $2.50 a gallon

    Gas prices are continuing to take a toll. Right now the average price of gas in Rochester is $3.25 a gallon. But, one local representative is trying to change that and give you a break at the pump. Representative Louise Slaughter says oil companies are banking billions as Americans pay the price. "It is clear that the oil companies are continuing to artificially drive up their prices and to gouge the customers at the pump."

    Slaughter is introducing a bill that would require president bush to cap gas prices at no higher than $2. 50 a gallon, the national average price of gas per gallon before Hurricane Katrina hit.

    Here's a breakdown. Let's say you buy 50 gallons of gas a month. At $3.25 a gallon you’re spending about $160.00. If that price is lowered to $2.50 a gallon that brings your monthly costs down to $125.00, saving you $450.00 a year.

    How soon could you see relief at the pumps? Representative Slaughter hopes to have her bill passed by the end of the year.

    "It is clear that the oil companies are continuing to artificially drive up their prices and to gouge the customers at the pump."

    It's clear? To whom? What does Ms. Slaughter know that the immutable Law of Supply and Demand doesn't? What does Ms. Slaughter know that a kid who runs a lemonade stand on a blistering hot day doesn't? Clearly, nothing.

    This is what passes for deep thinking from the folks who sneer at US and call US stupid. Madam -- price controls on ANYTHING inevitably lead to SCARCITY ... also known as SHORTAGES. To paraphrase Adam Smith "It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest."

    If Ms. Slaughter and her fellow economic Flat Earthers believe the price of gas -- or pharmaceuticals or heavy metal cds for that matter -- is too high, we encourage them to pool their resources, form an energy company and sell their product at a price that they consider below "gouging" levels.

    She can expect to stay in business for about a week.

    Note to Kayne West ...

    It occurs to us that George W. Bush has murdered far fewer black people than have rap/hip hop "artists" and their fans.

    Iraqi soldiers hit Jihadists

    Iraq mounts new raid on guerrillas

    TAL AFAR, Iraq (Reuters) - Iraqi forces launched a new offensive against insurgents in the town of Tal Afar near the Syrian border on Monday, and Washington said its patience with Damascus was running out over guerrilla infiltrations.

    Iraqi Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari defied a $100,000 bounty placed on his head by a militant Islamic group to visit the area, while commanders said about 200 insurgents had been killed since the joint Iraqi-U.S. operation began on Saturday.

    The offensive in the northern town has dismayed some members of Iraq's Sunni Arab minority, from which the insurgency draws support, and occurs a month before a referendum on a draft constitution which is already dividing the country.

    "Our patience is running out with Syria," the U.S. ambassador to Iraq, Zalmay Khalilzad, told a news briefing at the U.S. State Department in Washington.

    "It simply must close the (guerrilla) training camps. It should not allow youngsters misguided by al Qaeda, from Saudi Arabia, from Yemen, from North Africa, to fly into Damascus international airport," he said.

    Asked what the consequences would be for Syria if it did not act, Khalilzad said: "I would not like to elaborate ... I think they should understand what I mean."

    No immediate comment was available from Syria on Khalilzad's comments. Syria has denied U.S. charges in the past that it was allowing guerrillas to use its territory for attacks on Iraq.

    HUNDREDS OF INSURGENTS

    Iraq's Third Army Brigade said it had killed 40 insurgents in Tal Afar on Monday, bringing the guerrilla death toll since Saturday to around 200.

    An estimated 350-500 insurgents were in the town when Iraqi forces, backed by U.S. troops, began the offensive.

    The brigade said 21 "terrorist emirs," or senior insurgent leaders, had been captured.

    H. RES. 427

    Relating to the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.

    RESOLUTION

    Relating to the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.

    Whereas on September 11, 2001, while Americans were attending to their daily routines, terrorists hijacked four civilian aircraft, crashing two of them into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, and a third into the Pentagon outside Washington, D.C., and a fourth was prevented from also being used as a weapon against America by brave passengers who placed their country above their own lives;

    Whereas four years later the country continues to, and shall forever, mourn the tragic loss of life at the hands of terrorist attackers;

    Whereas by targeting symbols of American strength and success, these attacks clearly were intended to assail the principles, values, and freedoms of the United States and the American people, intimidate the Nation, and weaken the national resolve;

    Whereas four years after September 11, 2001, the United States is fighting a Global War on Terrorism to protect America and her friends and allies;

    Whereas recent deadly attacks in London, Madrid, and Sharm el-Sheik, Egypt, remind all Americans that the forces of evil that attacked the Nation four years ago remain committed to terrorist attacks against free peoples;

    Whereas because of the skill and bravery of the members of the United States Armed Forces and due to the constant vigilance of our Nation’s first responders, the United States homeland has not been successfully attacked by terrorist forces during the four years since September 11, 2001; and

    Whereas while the passage of four years has not softened the memory of the American people, resolved their grief, or restored lost loved ones, it has shown that Americans will not bow to terrorists: Now, therefore, be it

    Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

    (1) extends again its deepest sympathies to the thousands of innocent victims of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, their families, friends, and loved ones;

    (2) honors the heroic actions and the sacrifices of United States military and civilian personnel and their families who have sacrificed much, including their lives and health, in defense of their country in the Global War on Terrorism;

    (3) honors the heroic actions of first responders, law enforcement personnel, State and local officials, volunteers, and others who aided the innocent victims and, in so doing, bravely risked their own lives and long-term health;

    (4) expresses thanks and gratitude to the foreign leaders and citizens of all nations who have assisted and continue to stand in solidarity with the United States against terrorism in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks;

    (5) discourages, in the strongest possible terms, any effort to confuse the Global War on Terrorism with a war on any people or any faith;

    (6) reaffirms its commitment to the Global War on Terrorism and to providing the United States Armed Forces with the resources and support to wage it effectively and safely;

    (7) vows that it will continue to take whatever actions necessary to identify, intercept, and disrupt terrorists and their activities; and

    (8) reaffirms that the American people will never forget the sacrifices made on September 11, 2001, and will never bow to terrorist demands.

    Beasts of 9/11 mark 4th year in Hell

    Four years after committing mass murder in the name of his bloodthirsty false prophet, Mohammed Atta, leader of the 19 men of 9/11 reflected on his time in Hell.

    "I was very shocked. I mean, where are the virgins? Instead I get this kook with cloven hooves shoving a pitchfork up my bung hole."

    Atta, who spoke through his interpreter, the original Mohammed, recalled the moment he and his cohorts realized they'd gone horribly wrong.

    "We had been told of the many wonders that awaited us as a result of martyrdom in the name of Jihad" the putative head of the 9/11 plot exclaimed, "Yet the only action I am getting is a daily snake enema from some nut named Baal." Atta paused to wipe a phalanx of maggots off his forehead then added "I wonder what went wrong."

    Atta then excused himself and resumed his eternal task of flushing the Quran down the crapper page by page.

    Flight 93 memorial honors murderous hellhounds

    SOMERSET, Pa. -- A Somerset County preacher vowed to fight the design of the Flight 93 National Memorial, insisting that the crescent pathway used in the design is a symbol of Islam.

    "This is a memorial to the terrorists who killed those people, not a memorial to the folks who died there innocently," said the Rev. Ron McRae, leader of the Bible Anabaptist Church near Jerome, about 55 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.

    "The crescent is as much connected to Islam as the cross is to Christianity," said McRae of Conemaugh Township, also listed as director and founder on the Web site of the Lancaster-based Street Preachers Fellowship.
